poudriere is the recommended way.  That is the exact technology that is use=
d on
the FreeBSD.org ports building cluster, so it will need to pass in that
environment.

I agree that the man page is dense, but once you've set it up, it's worth i=
t.

You should also become familiar with portlint.  Although portlint is not 10=
0%
accurate, it does help to detect many common mistakes.
