Hello, Straight to the point Im appending the console output of two events: Plugging in a realtek based PCMCIA into my old Toshiba Portege rl0: <RealTek 8139 10/100BaseTX> port 0x1000-0x10ff mem 0x88000000-0x880001ff irq 11 at device 0.0 on cardbus0 miibus0: <MII bus> on rl0 rlphy0: <RealTek internal media interface> on miibus0 rlphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto rl0: Ethernet address: 00:10:60:5e:24:c2 rlphy0: detached miibus0: detached rl0: detached everything works well so I unplug it and put the other card in ... the Xircom card should be fully supported ... but when I plug it in it goes nuts: pccard0: Allocation failed for cfe 1 sio4: <Xircom CreditCard Ethernet+Modem 28.8> at port 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 11 function 0 config 2 on pccard0 sio4: type 16450 sio4: unable to activate interrupt in fast mode - using normal mode If you guys have any idea of what's going wrong or what kind of info do you need I'll gladly assist FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE custom kernel (all NIC's enabled/APM enabled) thanks for any help Indigo
