Hello,

Straight to the point

Im appending the console output of two events:

Plugging in a realtek based PCMCIA into my old Toshiba Portege
rl0: <RealTek 8139 10/100BaseTX> port 0x1000-0x10ff mem
0x88000000-0x880001ff irq 11 at device 0.0 on cardbus0
miibus0: <MII bus> on rl0
rlphy0: <RealTek internal media interface> on miibus0
rlphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto
rl0: Ethernet address: 00:10:60:5e:24:c2
rlphy0: detached
miibus0: detached
rl0: detached
everything works well so I unplug it and put the other card in ...

the Xircom card should be fully supported ... but when I plug it in it
goes nuts:
pccard0: Allocation failed for cfe 1
sio4: <Xircom CreditCard Ethernet+Modem 28.8> at port 0x2f8-0x2ff irq 11
function 0 config 2 on pccard0
sio4: type 16450
sio4: unable to activate interrupt in fast mode - using normal mode

If you guys have any idea of what's going wrong or what kind of info do
you need I'll gladly assist

FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE
custom kernel (all NIC's enabled/APM enabled)

thanks for any help
Indigo
