I'm using 3 these cards in our server and they work good.
(ISA Etherlink-III 3C-509B). The only known bugginess with
them is that sometimes they have problems with buffers
allocation, but I can't recall exact situation - better

Right, but I'll add more: You should make Dos bootable floppy
and use 3c5x9cfg.exe to config interrupts, ports, media
and (IMPORTANT !) "optimization" : in config program there
must be Optimization entry - set it to "SERVER"

Mmmm... 6 month ago my server was using FreeBSD 2.1.7 and
these cards were there... Maybe Stefano meant 3C905B...
