I have an Abit BP6 board it has 4 IDE ports (supports
8 drives).  There are quite a few newer boards that
have additional IDE controllers on board to provide
support from UDMA66/100 that the base motherboard
chipset cannot handle.  have a look at Abit, Aopen, or
MSI's range for example.

	I'm pretty sure you'd have to get some addon cards to
handle that many
