Whenever I transpart my laptop, instead of doing a shutdown, I just put it into hibernation, take it to new location, plug it in and bring it back up again ... saves having to reboot and bring up X ... ... but, more often then now, its slow as molasses for the first little bit ... if something something I should be doing before puttingitinto hibernation so that recovery is a bit faster? I see the rc.resume and rc.suspend scripts, but no docs on them ... thanks ... Marc G.
