Someone pointed out my email was in html. My apologies, I was stuck using a
web interface at the time.

I'm in the process of requesting our own address space from ARIN so that we
can gain some independece from upstream providers as well as set up some
redundant backbones with multiple carriers etc. We meet the qualifications
set forth by ARIN so I'm going about filling out the forms. One thing that
is mentioned is you can use either SWIP or Rwhois to provide utilization
information for your current address space to ARIN. Always being up for a
new learning experience, I installed the rwhois daemon and am currently
reading through it's docs.

I'm just wondering if anyone on the list has been through this process
before and can offer advice, etc. Am I wasting my time with an rwhois
server, is there a better way to go about this, an pitfalls I should watch
out for...?

And of course to justify my question I have installed rwhois on a freebsd
box ;).
