Hi all,

I'm trying to configure a 3Com 3C509B interface in a P90 system. We're
running FreeBSD 2.0-RELEASE, and get the following error message at boot
up:

ep0: 3c5x9 at 0x300 in test mode. Erase pencil mark!

I can put this 3C509B in another machine (486/DX33) and it works fine.

I remember reading about this a few weeks back, but don't remember what the
solution was.

Thanks,

Mike Heitmann
