I believe this requires a driver reset. If you are using a static driver
(compiled into the kernel), then yes, it has to be at boot. If you are usin=

driver module, then with the driver unloaded, you can do:
#kenv dev.ixl.0.iflib.override_ntxqs=3D<val>
#kenv dev.ixl.0.iflib.override_nrxqs=3D<val>

Then load then driver.
