I meant "set".

I was having a problem understanding with the following (from
machine/param.h):

#ifdef SMP
#define MAXCPU    16
#else
#define MAXCPU    1
#endif /* SMP */

but as jhb@ said (see hackers@), they're not supposed to be exported to
userland anyway.

Maybe some #ifdef _KERNEL ..... #endif could help...
