That's just the binary itself, i verified in a chroot environment
that's all you need to reproduce it (here at least).  Ignore all
the warnings about missing keysyms etc., the don't influence the
coredump behaviour.

My old kernel was from 2001-06-07.

No.  (I think the kernel cannot even be linked when omitting this,
i once tried it.)  The only change to the config file was to
remove the userconfig stuff now.
