Hi, and thanks for the great response! I'm checking the ports now as you said. So far that list doesn't seem to include really anything that I would be using. The Azureus BitTorrent client I was mentioning requires Java, which is what I think failed before. Have you gotten any Java to work on your amd64 system? Another thing I was planning to try was VMWare with Windows 2000, because I have a few music production applications that just won't run on *nix or in WINE. Do you know if the VMWare port runs on amd64? I also saw "qemu" on your site...does that run on amd64 FreeBSD? Also, do you recommend -RELEASE or -STABLE for the amd64? What do you run currently?
