Hi, I noticed there are no xdm-like configuration files for kdm (Xsession, Xstartup, Xreset, Xsetup ...). Just copying the ones from xdm is a bad idea. I did that and kdm started with root privileges only for every user in this case. (Very funny effect: echo $HOME is set to user's directory but id gives you user root back.)
