>Description:
Hi, I'm trying to set up my usb HP ScanJet 6200C on FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE. Here is what I get in /var/run/dmesg.boot:

***
module_register: module uhub/uscanner already exists!
Module uhub/uscanner failed to register: 17
***

at the beginning of boot and then towards the end I get:

***
uscanner0: ard product 0x0201, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 2
uscanner0: setting config no failed
device_attach: uscanner0 attach returned 6
uscanner0: vendor 0x03f0 200C, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 2
uscanner0: setting config no failed
device_attach: uscanner0 attach returned 6
***

I'm trying to follow the section in the FreeBSd Handbook about setting up a scanner. /dev/uscanner0 should exist but it does not and I have uscanner_load="YES" in /boot/loader.conf. HP ScanJet 6200C is supported by uscanner and I also have sane-backend installed which can't find the scanner with the "sane-find-scanner -q" command.
