At this point, I don't think you'll get any updates made to the perl
modules before 4.0-RELEASE.. FreeBSD is in deep freeze now, I think.

After -RELEASE, I think you'll be able to submit updates for the base
modules in the source tree with send-pr.

You can submit diffs for the each of the p5-* ports by send-pr.
