Subject: 2.2.5-BETA Hangs in Boot, 2.2.2 works
Message-ID: <199710202058.PAA02008@chess.inetspace.com>

I am running 2.2.2 successfully, but when I try and boot the GENERIC
boot floppy from 2.2.5-BETA (2.2.5-971018-BETA) the machine hangs after the
waiting for scsi devices to settle message.

I had a similar problem when running -current in april, but the
problem has now migrated to the proposed STABLE release. I have no
problems with either the GENERIC or custom kernels on 2.2.2. I have
the dmesg output and kernel config from my current 2.2.2 kernel.
