 * makes it too hard on some of us dialing in.  Sure wish those files were

That's true, I don't know why the mail archives aren't up for ftp
anymore.  That's a bummer.

You can still use lynx to search the mail archives through your
dial-up line though.  I just tried it with the keyword "fetch", and
found all the relevant articles.
