 There is also /usr/ports/graphics/sane that I understand can be used
with
/usr/ports/graphics/gimp-devel that also uses /usr/ports/graphics/gtk. 
In
theory this would be a dinamite package, but I haven't been able to get
them
to compile in current or in stable.  The current versions are
gimp-0.99.23.tar.gz
gtk+-0.99.9.tar.gz and sane-0.71.tar.gz.  The first two can be found on 
http://www.gimp.org and the later on http://www.mostang.com/sane.
