No, it doesn't change behavior at all just ensures that "make all clean" gives back a clean state as if it weren't touched. Unfortunately, this whole multimedia section is very messy and still there are some things I don't understand about it (most particularly, why it generates both html and sgml if it uses the sgml files in the next step to generate html). I'm thinking of using XSLT for this but because of its complexity it isn't that trivial either. At least the input file can be validated now. > If so, any chance this can also be applied to head/? Imo, the whole branch should be merged back as one commit but when it is ready. There are still things to clean up but I think it won't take that much. I'd say one week plus some more time so that people can review it and also review the output. Gabor
