Hello again,

On a busy, experimental FreeBSD machine
acting as a router I get *alot*
of the following messages on the console log:

/kernel: rtfree: 0xf22c9000 not freed (neg refs)

It happens after I start GateD from the ports collection. This
particular system crashes after about 12 hours. I have
tried the vm_page.c patch among other things. I also
get Panics related to a page fault in kernel mode. They
always occur when reading from dual-port memory mapped
through a PCI-ISA bridge to an ISA sync card. A kernel trace
back of the core dump always points to this. It is an 200 Mhz
AMD processor of the latest stepping and uses the TX chipset
and 82371AB (PIIX4) PCI-ISA bridge (which BTW is identified
as generic bridge by the pci_support.c procedures).

To make matters even more interesting, I am running the
new experimental Harp2.1 ATM code (with the latest patches)
and an Efficient OC3 PCI card, one of Dennis's
ET5025-16 ISA sync cards, two PCI, Intel fxp type cards,
and Trident video on ISA. It has been suggested to me
that I am having an ISA bus failure of some type.

Can anyone comment on this configuration/situation?

Sincerely,
                        Chris Peltier
