This does not fix things for me - I have php53 installed, and php53-gd
explicitly depends on the old versioning of libfreetype2.so. Having
searched to see what ports depend explicitly on libfreetype2, I discover
that it is the only one; I will be submitting a PR on php53 to change its
dependence on print/freetype2 to libfreetype2.so generically as the other
7 ports do.

Thanks,
