Now I am more confused.  I did this wrong the first time I replied.  I still
had sendmail_enable="NONE" in rc.conf.  Oops.  Okay so now that I have just
mta_startup_script=""
in rc.conf it hangs on "postdrop" for some reason.  This adds to the confusion
because I can't figure out where or why it's trying to run postdrop.
