Hi list,

I just installed FreeBSD 4.3-RELEASE on our new server and am unable to use the
3Ware escalade IDE raid.

When i try to

	fdisk -I /dev/twed0

i get:

	fdisk: can't open device /dev/twed0
fdisk: cannot open disk /dev/twed0: Operation not permitted

I am using the generic kernel, dmesg is attached.

Also, sysinstall doesn't see any drives on my system.

Please help, i am new to freebsd and i am really stuck!
