I'm using Netscape 3.0 with -current (from source as of the late august),
a Number Nine Imagine 128 video card, and Accelerated X and seem to have
no problem with applets.  I just went to Sun's sample applets
(http://java.sun.com:80/applets/applets.html) and they're working fine.
Have yet to have any problems with Accelerated X.
