A kernel with "options SMP" and "options APIC_IO" is working fine on a SuperMicro P6DGH with two PII/300 CPUs and FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE. The kernel is based on a cvsup of 8/19. The MPS configuration in the BIOS (v3.0) is v 1.4; I have not tried 1.1 since everything is working. mptable, however, ends with >MP Config Extended Table Extries: > >Extended Table HOSED!
