Have you seen
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/4.6/CHECKSUM.MD5 ?
They already have the MD5 checksums for all 4.6 ISO's

Only the 4.6 mini ISO is available, but no offical announcement has been
posted yet, so it is NOT official.
