The parallel port link, lp0, is a point-to-point link; it requires the Ip
address of both ends.  If you aren't using lp0, then remove it from the 
network_interfaces line in /etc/rc.conf.

> network_interfaces="lp0 lo0"	# List of network interfaces (lo0 is loopback).
> ifconfig_lp0="inet 192.9.205.90  netmask 255.255.255.0"
