As announced a few days ago, the ports tree is now frozen (we had to
delay a bit from my previous timeline because of several problems with
-current, but some of these are now fixed and the rest won't be fixed
until at least Monday, so now is as good a time as any to get started).

No commits are to be made without portmgr approval.
