When I run ppp -ddial it works perfectly, but when I try -auto it times out fine but then retries after the same timeout even with no input it just sets and cycles every 300 seconds or whatever time I put in timeout. There must be something very simple here that I am missing and am going to be very embarssed about but I give up. Thanks Ed
