BTW I am using > the pppd which came on the 2.2.5 CD. Yup, it's bad routing. When you dial in, the ppp client changes/adds a default route for the other end. Perhaps that default route is not getting added. Also check DNS -- the system does a reverse lookup on the connecting hostname, and if name lookups from teh FreeBSD box take a long time, the DNS server may be set wrong or tere is an error in the PTR entry on the Win95 box. > thanx for all the other info ... > Ash ;) No problem.
