Hi, Eines schoenen Tages schrieb Mark Atkinson: > I've updated two serial console only boxes recently to -current and > neither of them seems to be able to drop to single user on 'shutdown > now'. > > Anyone else seeing this issue? Yes, I have a box here which behaves the same. However, booting to single user from the loader prompt works fine. Unfortunatly I have no idea, what causes this behaviour and how to fix it :( As a work-around I added "options ALT_BREAK_TO_DEBUGGER" to my kernel, so I can reboot using serial console using "CR ~ ^r" (and don't have to call my Provider ;) Best Regards, Oliver -- -------------------------------------------------------- And remember: "To Infinity And Far Beyond ...
