Your motherboard manual will have more information. Yeah, it has 5 pci slots and 2 ISA, and one of the PCI is shared. I think I may have had the soundcard, and the bktr card both in the shared slots. Anyway, That problem is fixed, but the aureal driver has some problems. It plays sound (dsp) but in xmms, the slower the kbps, the faster it plays. 56kbps sound sounds like The Chipmunks, and 128 Kbps sound is just a little too fast. Also, when a sound stops, it stutters until another app tries to use the dsp device.
