Lo! I'm trying to get watch working on a FreeBSD 2.2.6 box. I did make snp0 up to snp9 but watch reports: # watch /dev/ttyp0 watch: fatal: cannot open snoop device # ls -la /dev/snp* crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 0 Jul 21 22:52 snp0 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 1 Jul 21 22:52 snp1 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 2 Jul 21 22:52 snp2 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 3 Jul 21 22:52 snp3 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 4 Jul 21 22:52 snp4 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 5 Jul 21 22:52 snp5 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 6 Jul 21 22:52 snp6 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 7 Jul 21 22:52 snp7 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 8 Jul 21 22:52 snp8 crw------- 1 root wheel 53, 9 Jul 21 22:52 snp9 What else do I have to do?
