Dunno yet. I tried to run SpinRite 5.0 against it, but there was
some problem with SpinRite recognizing the hard drive partitions
built under Win2K Pro.

Sony supplied a software package (SmartConnect) that will permit
file and printer sharing between to systems over a Firewire
connection. Being able to interface with it seems useful.
