StarOffice4 previous to sp3 work fine under the standard emulator.
Someone submitted patches to modify the emulator's /proc tree to provide
the files that SO4sp3 and later want.  I don't remember where the patches
are though, they were put on -hackers but I don't recall seeing a URL. :(
