Subject:   NEWCARD in STABLE?

Are there any plans to support CARDBUS in -STABLE?

The archives indicated it would happen after the 4.4-RELEASE...
and I didn't notice anything newer.

If not, how well is -CURRENT working these days? I've got a
notebook that has to support a Linksys/"dc" Cardbus card
(I booted a DP1 kernel and was able to use it), but I don't
think I can wait until after 5.0 is "released". Of course,
the ata PCCARD needs to work too...

Thanks,
Kevin

ps: If someone can commit the pccard.conf entry, the IBM PCCARD
IDE CDROM drive works fine with the ata driver and OLDCARD.
I don't think most people want to create a custom boot
floppy just to install FreeBSD. See conf/39537
[The INQUIRY problem appears to have been due to a cable problem;
it works once I moved the CDROM drive.]
