The Meteor's brightness value is unsigned ranging from 0 to 255 and
the Bt848 uses signed (-128 to 127) where -128 is -50% of full scale
and +127 is +49.6%.

The Bt848 driver has an ioctl to control brightness for the meteor and
the bt848 .

The Bt848 driver's matrox meteor brightness ioctl has been modified
to convert the value from unsigned to signed. Applications such as
fxtv will not be affected given that they use the bt848 native ioctl
call.

The next driver rev will be released in about 2 days.
