Exactly. Beta is reached when i think its not alpha anymore.

Seriously, AFAIK, with products in beta, no new features are added but only
bugs are fixed until the final release.

This is a bit different here. I choose to call it alpha until now to keep
a special kind of contemporary away from this code. Now i call it beta, and
this keeps all the people away from this code, who have no idea what alpha
means but beta ;-)
