  For what it's worth, on my RPI4, single USB (M.2) only.  Only had it
since ~6/25 so it's run 13.1-5ce13b8aa51, 0e897d87f73, 70fd40edb86 and
currently 13-n251597-7c500f98b8d like you.  I've rebooted it a fair
amount as I'm playing with config.txt settings and other stuff.

  I'm not using a serial console either, for what that is worth.

  In my case, uboot was seeded from this image:

	FreeBSD-13.1-STABLE-arm64-aarch64-RPI-20220603-185159f77c9-250958.img.xz

    $ strings -a < /boot/efi/u-boot.bin | grep "U-Boot 20"
	U-Boot 2022.04 (Jun 03 2022 - 02:14:43 +0000)
