(In fact, there seems to be some actually dire consequences of whatever this bug actually is... I cannot even build SpamAssassin now! The install scripts seem to think that I don't have an up-to-date version of the p5-Archive-Tar port installed... but I *do*! But I will wait and see what the maintainer has to say before fileing another PR.)
