You may simply need to change some setting in the device driver DOS loads 
in its config.sys. Look there for what seems to be an I/O port address 
and an IRQ number and try changing that to reflect the controller the CD 
is now connected to. It should work just fine then.

Try deleting the wd2 and wd3 lines from the kernel (be careful - it might 
cause your CD to stop working). If it works (even if you comment out just 
one - try wd3 first), it will make probing *much* faster.
