Your adapter isn't currently recognized.  If you can wait some, a driver
is in the works for -CURRENT and may be backported to 2.2.x.

The BusLogic card is in the same boat -- a dirver is being developed in
the new CAM SCSI framework.

I would suggest finding a vanillia 2940 or a Diamond FirePort 40.
