Im running FBSD 4.3..doing virtual web hosting / mail ..etc....I recently upgraded sendmail to the newest version. ..any who ...i did as the intructions ( INSTALL.txt ) to make a user/group called... smmsp thing is .....after i did the upgrade the sendmail process still runs as root... ( i know this is a BAD thing.... so i intend to fix this ASAP ) does anyone have howto on changing the user that sendmail runs "root" to "smmsp" instead ...i know this requires changing ownership of the directories used by sendmail ...like /var/mail/ etc.. thanx in advance for any and all help ..
