As of 10AM, Dec 17, the current SMP kernel is pretty solid. We're
running it on a relatively early SMP board, an early revision of the
ASUS P54NP4, I think. Dual P90 -- nothing to write home about these
days.

Just wanted to say THANKS for the good work! The kernel is solid; we've
been beating it to death since we turned on the second processor, and it
hasn't flinched. We're running without the APIC_IO option, which I
understand is more advanced but currently more risky, so this is hardly
new news. We are building a kernel with APIC_IO, and will report on
that, later.
