Boris is on a business trip until tomorrow, so I answer. Previous to =20 this commit we discussed parts of it. We got side tracked by "BROKEN =20 or IGNORE?" while knowing about the expiration date. We where aware =20 about the date and discussing it with the maintainer was on the TODO =20 list (my intend was to coordinate with the appearance of the native =20 port). Aside from this, I don't think this expiration date hurts. Currently =20 the port can not be used (see the content of the PR). All we need to =20 do is to get the native version into the ports tree.
