Does anyone have any experience using these 433MHz sensors?

There has apparently been some work on decoding the protocol, but first 
I need a receiver.  I have a couple of these in 434MHz:

The receivers could be added to an Arduino, but there may be a more 
direct way to attach them to a USB port (preferably).  OTOH, an Arduino 
isn't that big a deal, either.
