Subject: brooktree driver problems (signals not happening?)

So I have this chucnk of code that successfully reads frames from the
brooktree driver. They're all nice and pretty. However when in continous
mode, even with a signal handler installed, and the METEORSSIGNAL ioctl
successful, it seems as the the signal is not successfully delivered. If im
lucky the function handler will be called once, or none at all. Has anyone
else seen this behaviour? Any suggestions
