I'm getting a kernel panic on one of my machines. It's reproducable,
occurs on every shutdown. I've swapped out hardware, but the problem
doesn't go away.

Note sure if it's relevant, but the user space process in qustion is
always syslogd.

One interesting note, if I try to shutdown during the background
fsck_ufs, no panic occurs but 'Syncing disks' never completes (just
keeps writing numbers).
