What can I > do about this? fix you dns. your computer does not know its own name. witness the syslog line "Jan 17 02:02:03 myname". "myname" should have been replaced by the host name. 2.1.5...hmm...examine /etc/sysconfig, set the hostname there "hostname=myname" should be changed to the real name of the machine. jmb
