I recall someone asking on this or a related thread, how to uninstall all your ports. This is actually easier than it sounds; go to /var/db/pkg and say 'pkg_delete *', and keep doing it until the directory is empty. 8) Note that you may want to watch the error messages so that you can trim now-unused junk out of $PREFIX, but that's optional. -- ... every activity meets with opposition, everyone who acts has his rivals and unfortunately opponents also.
