Its not directly applicable to 4.x.

To quote the PR pages:
"A problem report is closed when any changes have been integrated, 
documented, and tested -- or when fixing the problem is abandoned."

As I do this in my spare time I have to prioritize my time, and I think 
its better spent on -current and 6.x.
